Who is DNA for?

Fresh university graduates in engineering, science, management engineering or other technical disciplines or junior professionals with up to three years working experience and engineering degree.

In addition to the above, all individuals must be are resilient, adaptable and flexible. We seek people who are not afraid of long-term commitment and want to explore working in several job functions and country locations.

When does it start?

The Program starts in early October 2025 with a 12 week training. After that, you start your first Job Assignment in allocated country and department/function.

How long does it last?

Approximately four to five years.

This is a long-term scheme during which you have three or four Job Assignments, each lasting 18-24 months and conducted in a different country location.

Is there an initial training period?

Yes. There is a 12 week training period at our headquarters in Hagen, Germany. You learn about the Automotive industry trends, our product portfolio, production and other processes and how we interact with our customers and suppliers.

Your accommodation costs in Hagen are fully covered by our company and you receive a regular salary.

What type of Job Assignments will I work?

At least one of them should be related to your course of study or previous experience. Additional Job Assignments should be in other disciplines and departments. The Program is designed to give you a better insight into how various departments and country site locations operate. We believe such understanding will help you become a successful leader in the future.

We typically offer Job Assignments in the following areas: R&D, Project Management, Sales, Industrial Engineering, Production, Finance, Purchasing.

Will I receive a contract and salary?

Yes, you will receive a standard indefinite employment contract and a competitive entry-level annual salary (paid monthly) depending on your experience and the job assignment.

In addition, you will receive a "cost-of-living allowance. The amount depends on the living costs in your destination country.

Can I choose my Job Assignment or location?

You will be able to select from several options, however, you may not always land your choice in terms of a country location or role. We need to balance the capacity of our managers, tutors, office and production space and our business goals.

Typically, your first Job Assignment is within the same continent you come from. Applicants coming from South America will be placed in Brazil or Mexico locations first. Trans-continental Job Assignments will also be available during the final years of the Program.

Is the Job Assignment like regular employment?

Yes, you work standard full-time hours, onsite at one of our production or R&D sites.

You are placed into a role (e.g. Junior Project Manager) under the department or team supervisor and your duties are in line with the department objectives. In addition, you are assigned a tutor who follows you for the whole duration of the Program and helps with your integration and further development.

What other assistance will I receive?

At the start of the Program, we pay for your travel to Hagen, Germany and organize and finance your accommodation. This is a single studio apartment, a single hotel room or equivalent.

Each year, we also cover travel expenses to your home-country typically during Christmas and summer holidays.

When relocating, our HR department in designated country assists you with finding accommodation and other practical matters.

What is the selection process?

If your application is selected, you undergo an online interview session with a member of our HR team. You may also be asked to provide additional information via email. The second stage is an Assessment Center with max 10 participants in a designated location. We cover your travel expenses as international travel may be required. During/after the Assessment Center, we may also conduct a one-to-one interview in person.

We review applications gradually, however, the second stage (Assessment Center/Interview) is planned for second half of June 2025.

We plan to have final decision by July after which we will send contracts.
